Blogging Stamina and Determination
By Tracy on October 29th, 2009Posted In: Blog

Blogging on a regular basis is hard work.
Anybody who blogs frequently knows that this is true. (And ‘frequently’ means writing and publishing thoughtful, helpful and relevant articles at last 3 times a week)
So if you’ve decided to channel your energy into being a serious blogger, whether as a career or as a marketing tool, then both stamina and determination will be required to make your blog a success.
You will be required to dig deep into yourself to find topical subjects to write about. Then you will have to title these topics provocatively and couple them with articulate, logical content.
Creating worthwhile content is incredibly time consuming and mentally exhausting activates. An activity that you’ll have to do on a regular basis.
There’s a reason why many bloggers blog daily or at least 3 times a week. Online-readers are insatiable and fickle. They are insatiable for instantly gratifying content and very fickle about sticking around if you don’t produce it frequently. It’s what you have have to do for the reader-base that you are either hoping to build up or maintain.
But none of this bad news is new news to anybody who has ever had to create anything, be it art, literature, music or technology.
Constistent and constant creativity is an exercise in stamina, self determination and personal commitment to getting whatever results you desire out of your blog.

This is so true their are so many people who want to be bloggers. Its all about being consistane and presistant in your blogging to be successful.
You’re right Megyn, ‘persistent’ is a great word to describe what’s needed. I think the most difficult thing about full time blogging is how the hard work invloved sneaks up on people. Most start out saying to themselves “Hey, this looks like something easy I can do” and then POW, the pressure hits when the readers start to come in. By the way. greeeat pics.
