Starting a Webcomic? Create a bold new Plotline!

If you want to start a webcomic, it’s likely you’ve already decided what it will be about.
Here’s to hoping that either you’ve thought of a brand new subject never before depicted or you are about to redo a classic plot line in the most magical and riveting way.
There are lots of webcomics about friends rooming together, nerds saving the world, furry misfits muddling through the universe and bewildered girl heroes. All of these make the imagining of a brand new, never done before plotlines easier said than done. Never the less, your job is to make sure that your heroine, geek hero or furry villian is by far unique from any before.
How do you do that? You rely on your story telling skills and flair for the dramatic, and your presentation, of course.
If your writng skills are not strong then now would be a good time to read more and learn more about writing. It would suit you to do that since webcomic readers tend to be both fickle and unresponsive even to good comics with great content.
So spend some time thinking about what your comic will be about. And if you’ve already started one that you don’t feel completely confident about, there is no time like the present to amp it up.
